The Categories of Fitness

Physical fitness divided often into the following categories so that people can examine its components:

Cardiovascular endurance: Ability of your body to deliver oxygen as well as nutrients to all the tissues and remove wastes time to time. As heart is considered the most important organ it is necessary that it stays in a good condition. Intake of too much fat and carbohydrates can increase the level of cholesterol in blood and cause heart problems. Hence a good diet and regular exercise is mandatory for a good heart.

Flexibility: Flexibility denotes the ability to move joints and utilize muscles for their motion. Flexibility problems get worse with age. Most people face terrible joint problems; this might have many reasons however in all cases regular exercise is necessary. A physiotherapist or your personal trainer for fitness would tell some gentle exercises you could follow to ensure there is good flexibility in your joins and muscles.

Body composition: Body composition talks about body in terms of bone, muscle, vital tissue, organs and fat mass. The ratio of fat to lean mass is calculated to evaluate fitness. If there is more fat a person is likely to suffer cardiovascular problems. However strict diet habits with appropriate exercise can certainly ensure good health.

Muscular Endurance: This one talks about the muscle ability to exert force for some time; endurance refers to the muscle, group of muscles ability, to sustain contractions.
